Ristvin Marketing was established to provide the funding needed to keep the Rist Canyon Vineyards in operation and continue needed research on growing grapes in marginal areas.
Gardener's Supply was founded in 1983 by a handful of enthusiastic Vermont gardeners.

serves millions of gardeners nationwide, offering everything from seed starting supplies and garden furniture to flower supports and greenhouses. Though Gardener's Supply Company company has grown, they remain passionately committed to providing garden-tested, earth-friendly products that will help their customers have more fun and success in their gardens.

Gardener's Supply Company maintains a Product Design and Development Department and test gardens. They also operate their own manufacturing facility in Georgia, Vt. where they produce garden carts, greenhouses, raised beds and garden sheds.

Gardener's Supply Company is located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont. Their offices, warehouse, and retail store are at the edge of an 800-acre floodplain known as the Intervale. This rich combination of farmland and wetlands has been under cultivation for at least 700 years. Over the past 15 years, Gardener's Supply Company has led a community-wide effort to revitalize this unique natural resource, and support the growth of local, sustainable agriculture.
